In the News: Via Philadelphia.Today, ArtPhilly Unveils Plan for Inaugural Citywide Festival

Philadelphia.Today attended ArtPhilly's press preview for What Now: 2026 and helped announce the festival.

ArtPhilly was launched with an eye towards highlighting and amplifying Philadelphia’s arts and culture by shining a light on the talent and institutions throughout the city.

“We knew from the start that success for us would be that the arts become recognized and valued as intrinsically important to the soul of our city as ‘wooder’ ice and the Phanatic,” said ArtPhilly founder Katherine Sachs. “We are, after all, a very creative place and dare I also say revolutionary.”
